About the Project

Since Storyscape began in 2009, we have been working in partnership with Dardi Munwurro on a range of evaluations, and participatory video and storytelling projects. Dardi Munwurro delivers a range of family violence, healing and behaviour change programs and services. Their programs aim to break the cycle of inter-generational trauma in Aboriginal families and communities, by empowering and inspiring individuals to heal the past, acknowledge the present and create a positive vision for the future.

Our work with Dardi draws on Narrative Therapy practices, and focuses on the power of stories to encourage people to reflect, learn and heal. We have applied this focus to various evaluations and short films made with the men participating in Dardi programs.
